“It’s the hap-happiest season of all,” and according to director Park, there is no better way to “get into the holiday spirit than joining the Rep for this toe-tapping, uplifting night of song, good cheer and revelry.” Enjoy holiday classics which are both naughty and nice as audience members join in the fun of a true cabaret setting with general admission seating at small round tables filled with holiday treats. Beverages may be purchased throughout the performance.
Broadway star, Kally Duling returns to her hometown to headline the Cabaret. Duling said, “The opportunity to come home to join the Rep’s holiday cabaret couldn’t have come at a more perfect moment. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the incredibly talented UNL students while spending a little extra time with my family this holiday season. It truly is ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ to surround yourself with music and family. I can’t wait to share some great holiday tunes with one of my favorite cities in the world.”
Duling is best known for her Broadway run and national tour of FUN HOME. She has also appeared in AMERICAN HERO, NEXT TO NORMAL, INTO THE WOODS, THE TALL GIRLS, THE FIFTH OF JULY, GUYS AND DOLLS, PETER PAN, EVITA, and BABES IN TOYLAND to name a few, at regional theatres throughout the country. Film and television roles include “The Good Wife,” “One Bad Choice,” “Indecision 2010,” and “Street Pillow.”
