About the show: When the sleepy town of Popcorn Falls is forced into bankruptcy and threatened to be turned into a sewage treatment facility, their only hope is to…open a theatre? Two actors play over 20 roles in this farcical feel-good show that proves once and for all that art can save the world.
About the roles:
Mr Trundle – A sincere man. People-pleaser. The new mayor of Popcorn Falls. Recently divorced and a recovered alcoholic, determined to pull his life back together.
Joe – A nervous janitor whose wife is pregnant with their third set of twins.
The two characters play a variety of additional and off-the-wall characters with an equal array of wacky habits and strange accents. A great pair of roles for high energy fun-loving actors.
With two cast members the rehearsal schedule can be more flexible than a regular production.
