Lincoln Community Playhouse will present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat May 6-8, 13-15, 20-22. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:00 on Sundays.  Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for students and may be reserved beginning Monday, April 25 at or by calling the box office at 402-489-7529, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is also a free will offering performance on Thursday, May 12.

One of the most beloved – and colorful – musicals of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors. The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, including country-western, calypso, Elvis rock, and French ballads. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the first hit musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Weber and lyrics by Tim Rice.
