Every Brilliant Thing, by Duncan McMillian with Johnny Donahoe, is a life-affirming play that celebrates life while addressing issues like depression, suicide, and the importance of human connection. After a mom attempts suicide, her daughter begins a lifelong quest to create a list of everything that’s brilliant about the world. Ashley Kobza, the sole actor, leads the audience in celebrating life’s joys from ice cream to construction cranes in this intimate and immersive play performed in the round in the Studio Theatre.
Judy Hart directs with Barb Armstead as stage manager.
