Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons said it best: “Oh What A Night”, and oh what a night it was watching the phenomenal cast and crew of Jersey Boys at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. This wonderful cast brings the 2006 Tony-winning musical to life on stage right in the heart of Lincoln theatre.
This fun upbeat musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, their struggles with life on the road, and their rise to fame. Theatre goers of all ages will find themselves singing along to the classics that we have heard and loved all our lives. All the wonderful 60’s hits are beautifully packaged and presented with ease by these amazing lead performers!
Originally on Broadway in 2004, this jukebox musical follows The Four Season’s rise, tough times, personal clashes, and the ultimate triumph of a group of friends whose music became a symbol for a generation. In addition to the quartet’s coming of age story as performers, the show illustrates how a code of honor learned in the streets of New Jersey got them through many of life’s challenges: gambling debts, Mafia threats, and family disasters.
Jon Hacker, the voice behind Frankie Valli, and his phenomenal falsetto, make you feel like you are face to face with the talented Frankie Valli himself. Along with Eric Chambliss as Bob Gaudio, Matt Faucher as Nick Massi, and Devon Goffman as Tommy DeVito; this amazing quartet, and the chemistry they have with one another, brings to life the raw and powerful emotions held by the characters that they play. Their seemingly effortless portrayal will have you laughing and crying from act to act.
