TADA TENORS JOIN FORCES FOR SENSATIONAL CONCERT

TADA productions, Inc. is proud to present THE TADA TENORS for one weekend only October 29-31 at the award-winning TADA Theatre.


This concert brings three stellar voices together for one special event featuring the talents of Michael Tully, Drew Duncan and BJ Montague. This production showcases a wide gamut of music, ranging from classical to Broadway favorites with new dynamic arrangements. The evening will have something for everyone and is packed full of sensational solos, duets and group numbers.


The two act concert will take place on the TADA Theatre main stage and consist of a variety of songs including On The Street Where You Live, O Sole Mio, Fatherhood Blues, This Is The Moment, Heart, I Am What I Am, Bring Him Home, She Used to Be Mine, Abbondanza, Fugue for Tinhorns and more!


Accompanying the tenors will be Deanna Mumgaard. The show is directed by Robert D. Rook, musical directed by Cris Rook, production management by Elysia Ann Arntzen, technical coordination by Juli Burney and Kevin Welch, lighting design by Robert D. Rook, costume coordination by Karen Statham along with Tip Top Tux.


THE TADA TENORS is on stage at The TADA Theatre at 701 P Street in Lincoln, Nebraska’s Historic Haymarket, October 29-31. Friday show begins at 7:30 pm and Saturday performances begins at 8:00 pm due to the Husker game, Sundays matinee is at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00 Friday and Saturday and $15.00 on Sunday with a $3.00 discount for all OLLI members. Live streaming tickets are also available for Friday and Saturday nights’ performances. The TADA Theatre is now operating by the safety guidelines put in place on Broadway to protect our patrons and performers. All patrons aged 12 and over must always provide proof of vaccination for entry into the theatre and be required to wear a mask over the mouth and nose. *Vaccination exemptions will be considered only if unvaccinated patrons can present a printed proof of a negative COVID test result (we do not accept home COVID test kit results) that has been performed in the 72 hours prior to the respective performance. Exempted patrons will always still be required to wear a mask over mouth and nose while in the
theatre. Those under 12 may wear a mask for entrance since they are still too young to be vaccinated at this time. TADA has also installed an air purification system, allowing the air patrons breathe while at the theatre to be cleaned by the same machine used by hospitals and scientific laboratories, helping to create a healthier environment during the show. MEET THE TADA TENORS


DREW DUNCAN


Originally from Okoboji, IA, Drew has sung with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Des Moines Metro Opera, Virginia Opera, Sarasota Opera, Castleton Festival, Chicago Opera Theater, Chamber Opera Chicago, Ash Lawn Opera, Opera for the Young, Virginia Consort, Dubuque Symphony Orchestra and was a Central Region Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 2010. Since moving to Nebraska in 2012, Drew regularly sings with Opera Omaha, Abendmusik, The Nebraska Wind Symphony, First-Plymouth Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, Saint Cecelia Cathedral, UNO, Creighton University, TADA Productions, and sings the National Anthem for the UNO Maverick Hockey team, Olympic Swim Trials, Olympic Curling Trials, and College World Series.


DR. MICHAEL TULLY


Michael is thrilled to be returning to TADA after his appearance as Jim in Pump Boys and Dinettes and Ash in Evil Dead The Musical. His previous roles at TADA including Smudge in Forever Plaid, Anthony in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Fonz in Happy Days A New Musical and Gaston in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Pinewood Bowl. Dr. Tully relocated from Tempe to Lincoln in 2005, after earning B.M. and M.M. degrees in Voice from Arizona State University. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from UNL in 2013. He has found success in a wide range of vocal styles in a career that has taken him from the world of opera, oratorio and art song, to jazz, blues, music theatre, and acappella. Michael currently serves as Director of Music Ministries at Trinity United Methodist Church in south Lincoln and maintains a healthy balance of work, family, and performing. He is a proud husband to wife Linden and father of two children Julia and Graham.


BJ MONTAGUE


Mr. Montague has loved singing music for years and has appeared in such TADA roles as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show and as Jinx in Forever Plaid at the Lied Center’s Johnny Carson Theatre. A current member of the Lincoln Continentals barbershop chorus, he has also sung with Lincoln’s Basement Opera Company and Opera Omaha. A singer of all styles of music from showtunes to country, BJ was also seen in the role of Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast at Pinewood Bowl. Thrilled to be singing with both Michael and Drew, BJ recently became a grandfather for the second time.
