TADA & THE MILL COMBINE FORCES FOR OUTDOOR THEATRE CONCERT IN JULY

OUTDOOR CONCERT RETURNS IN TIME TO CELEBRATE

Last summer when the Coronavirus hit, TADA Productions, Inc. and The Mill collaborated on one of the first outdoor musical performances in the United States called TADASTOCK. Following all DHMs, the concert was a sold out hit. At the time, the show was a necessity; however, inspired by the great response, a tradition has been born and an all new outdoor concert collaboration will take place to celebrate how far we have come as TADASTOCK 2  (Last Year We Had 2, This Year We Want 2) – comes to the outdoor stage at The Mill at Telegraph for one night only Saturday night July 17th!

“Last year we did this with so many restrictions in place and it was a success. This year we can open it up to even more people and have a real reason to celebrate,” says Dan Sloan, Treasurer of the TADA Board of Directors and owner of The Mill.

Patrons can enjoy an all new show with delicious food and first-rate wine from The Mill and fantastic music performed by an array of talented singers from The TADA Theatre, all in the wonderful outdoor setting of The Mill at Telegraph at 330 S 21st St, Lincoln, NE.

This special night of music will have something for everyone – from heart touching solos to show-stopping rock and roll numbers plus a few surprises. Hosted by Rod Fowler and Bob Rook, the talented line-up of TADA singers includes Catherine Bobst, Roderick Cotton, Drew Duncan, Kylie Ensrud, Tyler Hale, Bill Maltas, Erin Mundas, Cris Rook, Lisa Taylor and Sandy Van Pelt. The band is led by Alicia Opoku on keys, Stephen Cantarero on bass and Dietrich Hitt on drums.

A fundraiser for the award-winning TADA Theatre, TADASTOCK 2 is sponsored by Alivation Health and The Nebraska Lottery, that will be on site with their street team during the event to greet the crowd with free merchandise and a chance to win lottery tickets.

Reservations are recommended by getting tickets ahead of time at www.tadatheatre.info. Seating is by general admission on a first come, first serve basis. The Mill will supply all chairs, patrons should not bring any as the performance space will be prepared at maximum capacity. Gates open at 6:00 pm with the show starting at 7:00 pm. The alternate weather date due to rain or extreme heat will be Sunday July 18.

“Last year we had to turn and pivot to do a show outside and this concert was a blessing and lifted many people up. Now even more great things are happening as a result of it. Our city deserves this celebration of music and everyone who attends will have a blast,” says Robert D. Rook, TADA Managing Artistic Director.
