The STAGE Theater proudly presents SHE LOVES ME this Holiday Season, November 29 – December 2 & 6 – 9, 2018.
Set in a 1930s European parfumerie, shop clerks Amalia Balash and Georg Nowack, more often than not, don’t see eye to eye. After both respond to a “lonely hearts advertisement” in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown. Join Amalia and Georg to discover the identity of their true loves… and of all the twists and turns along the way!
With music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, book by Joe Masteroff and based on the 1937 play “Parfumerie” and then beloved 1940 film “Shop Around the Corner” (later remade “You’ve Got Mail”), SHE LOVES ME is considered by many to be one of the most charming musicals ever written.
SHE LOVES ME is directed by Robert Wamsley, with assistant direction by Emmy Lou Harris, music direction by Justin Eisenbeis, choreography by Jenna Richter-Nasif, stage managed by Luke Heidbrink and features a talented cast: Arica Worsham (as Amalia Balash), Connor Dudley (as Georg Nowack), Soren Tobey (as Ilona Ritter), Michael J. Corner (as Steven Kodaly), Robert Marshall (as Mr. Maraczek), Stuart Richey (as Arpad Laszlo), Christian Cardona (as Ladislov Sipos) and a featured ensemble: Tim Frey, Luke Heidbrink, Laura Lynn Horst, Danny Johnson, Violet Spader Kirk, Sam Pynes, Annaliese Saathoff, Amanda Schumacher, Zoe Tien and Ben VandeVere.
SHE LOVES ME runs November 29 – December 2 & 6 -9 with Thursday / Friday / Saturday performances at 7:30PM and Sunday Matinées at 2PM.
